Upgrading your corporate event!
Lots of different companies are hosting events these days, for a multitude of reasons. Some utilize an event as a way to introduce a new product or service, or to train staff on that new launch. They can be used for fundraising, or to establish team building, or as a retreat for job well done - and to encourage continued efforts. Whatever the reason, corporate clients are always looking for fresh new ways to make these events engaging, and also FUN! These settings are absolut

Thursday Night Live
I'm so damn excited it's Thursday. I took tonight off from my regular Smartphone Trivia event and have a capable fill in host working for me. The reason for this... I'm going to see Louis C.K. at Foxwoods in CT tonight! I'm beyond excited as I've been a longtime fan... but haven't seen him live yet. That changes this year. I'm going tonight - then to see him again in August when he actually comes to Western Massachusetts! Louis is a very funny guy, his show on FX is one of m

Post Martha's Vineyard Wedding Recap
Last week was built around a lot of preparation for the wedding I had successfully completed on Saturday night in Martha's Vineyard. It was big for a number of reasons. First, it was the kickoff wedding of the 2016 season for my - the first in a good size stretch to be honest. It was also the first large scale event I've booked since working for myself. Made a scheduling mistake with my rental car (I'm not bringing the van on the ferry, if I don't need to), but I scheduled pick up for the rental on Friday morning... not accounting for loading time

Wedding Season DJ and SpeedQuizzing work!

I'm looking forward to this because it's one of the biggest wedding jobs I've booked since going into business for myself. The obvious is the travel involved - it's on Martha's Vineyard, but more than that is the total amount of work and new stuff I'm debuting at this one event! This couple - who has been awesome to work and plan with BTW

DJ Expo 2016: planning begins.
Been working feverishly with my cohort, Bill Adams, on this year's SpeedQuizzing show at DJ Times' DJ Expo in Atlantic City later this summer. We've got a much larger presence planned than we had last year, and we're looking forward to this opportunity to really expand the reach of SpeedQuizzing USA! The biggest change is that in addition to our booth on the Expo floor... we're holding a seminar! The focus is on how to diversify your ability to entertain, to both enrich your
